The Amazon DCV Client

We use the Amazon DCV technology to connect securely to the simulator application hosted on the remote server. A connection to the client can be launched via:

• https://cloud.osc.no/

Prerequisites for using a 3D mouse

To use a 3D mouse on Sandbox Cloud, you need to set up the desktop version of Amazon DCV for your computer. Follow the installation steps in our guide to install the Amazon DCV desktop client.

Network Requirements

In order for the Amazon DCV client to work, the following protocols must be available and unblocked:

• Port: 443/TCP

• Port: 443/UDP

While port 443/TCP is generally available, port 443/UDP may need to be explicitly opened by your IT department. Possible solutions:

• IT departments may open 443/UDP to the Amazon DCV client explicitly.

• IT departments may permit 443/UDP traffic to this URL: http://gateway.eu-north-1.prd.osc.no/ if the firewall hardware permits opening ports to FQDN.
